Will HP Exist in the laptop market for good?

There has been a lot of talk recently about HP’s withdrawal from the laptop and netbook market. Hewlett Packard has already withdrawn from the tablet market and many are predicting a similar withdrawal from the laptop market. It seems strange to think that the company with the largest market share would consider leaving the marketplace.

Market commentators think that it is far more likely that HP will either continue in the marketplace or sell their brand to another suitor. Therefore it would seem that there is not going to be any let-up in the demand for HP laptop chargers and Compaq Presario laptop adapters.

Hewlett Packard, along with Dell, is one of the few brands that have been equally successful in both the retail and the corporate market. We don’t see them going away any time soon. With hugely dominate positions in both the European and American markets, it is hard to see them justifying an exit, with their HP Pavilion and Compaq Presario series also commanding great consumer and brand loyalty. Laptop Power UK is still the on-stop shop for HP laptop screens and HP laptop batteries also.
