The term Matte or Glossy is widely used when describing the finish of a Laptop Screen. What difference does it make to you? For the vast majority of people it will make no difference at all. Most laptops are sold with the glossy finish. This has a shiny look to it and you may see reflections in the screen when the light hits it at a certain angle. This will only ever cause you problems if you like to use your laptop outside or in the office with bright overhead lights. The reflections can sometimes make it difficult to view the screen.
A matte Toshiba Equium Screen will appear duller when the laptop is turned off. Primarily fitted to laptops and computers designed for office use, they will not be affected by the bright lighting allowing you to work for prolonged periods with less strain on your eyes.
Whatever your preference, there are options to suit. When looking for a new Toshiba Equium A100 Screen, take this into consideration and select the right type of panel for you.
