Why is it so hard to find some kinds of Laptop Screen? Normally it is due to the screen in question being an outdated panel that is no longer produced. It takes a lot of expertise to produce laptop screens and so there are very few manufacturers. If these handful of manufacturers decide to cease production, then the market will dry up and if you do manage to find one it will very likely be a 2nd user panel or brand new but very expensive.
Screens these days are mostly classed as widescreen with a rectangular shape. If you are looking for a ‘Standard Aspect’ screen you may start to struggle. Screens like the 15″ CCFL are no longer produced and so a used screen may be your only option. Similarly, sizes that were not that popular such as 16″ screens are also rare. If you check Laptop Power UK for the screen you require we may be able to help. We hold many different types of laptop screen for a huge range of laptops so the chance is good that we will be able to help you out!
