Toshiba Satellite A305 Laptop Screens – See Our Fitting Instructions

One of the mysteries of how to change a Laptop Screen is how the thing is actually removed and what the correct replacement part is. After you have read on a little more, that mystery may be solved! The reality of replacing a broken laptop screen is a lot simpler than first appears. The Toshiba Laptop Screen is held up within by screws attaching it to a small arm on each side of the panel. This framework is covered by the plastic lid at the back and the screen surround at the front.

You can access the inside by removing the front bezel. This can be done by removing the plastic circular ‘buttons’ in the corners of the bezel and then carefully prising it away. After removing the screen from the hinge arms you can unplug the data cable and then remove the faulty part.  For full instructions and a guide with pictures displaying the steps, check out our Laptop Screen Fitting Instructions.
