One big trend for 2012 that customers are going to notice is the price of CCFL type screens going up significantly. All of the main laptop screen manufacturers are switching their production lines over to producing the newer LED backlit technology panels. This means that the price of standard 15.4” laptop screens and 14.1” laptop screens are going to rise significantly.
This is potentially going to cause people some problems. Since CCFL laptop screens have been put into older laptops, as the price of the correct replacement screens rise, it is going to make people question whether it is worth a laptop screen repair as opposed to simply going out and buying a new one. Laptop Power UK is committed to ensuring, to be the fullest extent possible, prices are kept to manageable levels for our customer base. With large stocks of CCFL panels in stock, we are confident of keeping price inflation on these laptop screens to a minimum during 2012.
Of course the advent of LED screen technology is a positive development for laptop users. However it doesn’t help people who are looking to replace an older version screen in their old beloved laptop. Please let us know if you can’t locate the correct part, or are having issues navigating the website.
