LED Laptop screens do not have the standard inverter cables coming out of the bottom of the screen like a standard CCFL screen has due to the difference in the technology of the screen. Instead there is simply a video cable slot on the back of the screen. Many manufacturers position this cable in various positions, making it difficult to ensure that you get the correct replacement screen for your laptop when you need a new one. The most popular screens in product at this moment in time are the 11.6”, 15.6” and 17.3” LED screens. Many netbook screens have already finished final production are becoming more difficult to get hold of and the prices are rising.
