This question is quite straightforward to answer. It simply depends on what you intend to use your laptop for and what is most important to you. Most laptops for sale in the retail environment, such as those stocked in PC World, will typically have a glossy screen. Glossy screens are the most reflective and are the best for most home users who typically use their laptops mainly for surfing the net and watching films.
Most corporate laptops that are used for hours at a time are normally fitted with matte screens. They reflect less light than a glossy screen which is ideal for an office environment for two reasons. Firstly it is easier on the eyes which is really important if you are going to use your laptop for 8 to 10 hours at a time. Secondly if you have very bright and powerful office lights, having a less reflective laptop screen may be something you will be glad of.
Since most of the customers of Laptop Power UK are retail customers, it figures that most of the laptop panels we sell are glossy screens. However, before potential corporate customers run a mile, we have a full and comprehensive matte laptop screens in stock. When it comes to laptop screens and panels – we aim to be all things to all people!!
