Acer Aspire 5670 Screen Problem – How does it look?

How do your Laptop Screen problems look? We ask because the fault with a laptop screen can usually be diagnosed just by a simple description of the faults you are experiencing. We will go through some of the most common complaints to give you an idea. First off, your screen is black or has a very faint image if you look closely. This can be caused by a faulty backlight. CCFL screens are connected to a part called an inverter which provides the changes in current to the screen which then in turn gives the colours. If this is faulty, no current reaches the screen and only a very faint black image will be displayed.

Another fault is screen flickering. Either caused by the Acer Aspire 5670 Screen itself on it’s last legs or the cable that connects it to the motherboard. If the cable is at fault, the image is not transferring properly from the graphics card to the screen. Alternatively the panel may have internal issues with the Liquid Crystal Display. Both these faults can be fixed with a replacement part.

If you see coloured lines running horizontally or vertically through the Acer Laptop Screen, the panel may have taken  some damage, commonly through a drop. A new display panel will eradicate this issue. The final and easiest problem to see is a cracked screen. If you have dropped the laptop or thrown something at the screen the crack will be clearly visible. For any replacement queries, just contact Laptop Power UK to find the right part for your laptop.
