Some people want to fix their Laptop Keyboard instead of replacing it. To start fixing back on missing keys etc is time consuming, tricky and not always guaranteed to stay fixed. Once you have damaged the clasps that hold the keys and the frame in place then they are likely to be weakened and will probably no longer hold the key in place. The best solution is to replace the whole keyboard in one go.
The keys are mounted on a plastic or metal ‘base’. Sandwiched in the middle will be all the necessary electronics to allow the keyboard to recognise when the keys are being pressed. Coming out of the back of the keyboard will be a ribbon cable which then attached to the laptop motherboard at a specific point. When replacing the Dell Keyboard you simply need to remove the relevant screws holding it in place and then remove the ribbon cable. Just reverse this process to attach the new Dell Inspiron E6400 Keyboard in place.
You will then have a brand new keyboard, free of dirt and grime and missing keys. If you use your laptop a lot for word processing etc this will be a life saver. Pay a visit to Laptop Power UK to find the Dell Keyboard you need today.
