It seems obvious after the event, but the worst enemy of laptop keyboard is a fizzy drink or a can of lager. Due to the festivities currently underway the lowly Dell Inspiron 1525 keyboard and Dell Inspiron 1545 keyboard seem to be coming in for some pretty rough treatment judging by the orders coming into the Laptop Power UK
warehouse network.
The good news for customers who find themselves with a sticky and sodden laptop keyboard that needs to be replaced is that it is nearly always successful and you will be left with a laptop with a new keyboard that is as good as new. Whether you intend to replace the Dell laptop keyboard yourself, or you want to purchase the part and have your local repair shop fit it, Laptop Power Uk offer the most competitive prices on original Dell keyboards in the UK.
We decided to blog about the Dell 1545 keyboard and the Dell 1545 keyboard since these are by far the two most commonly requested parts. However customers will be glad to know that we carry a wide range of original Dell laptop keyboards. No longer does a split drink need to spell the end of your Dell laptop. However a piece of
advice is to act quickly if a drink has been split, since the chances of a successful repair is soon after the initial damage.

If you have a Laptop Keyboard that appears unresponsive or have issues when typing such as the letters doubling up every time you press a key, the remedy could be easier and cheaper than first expected. It can be easy for the keyboard on your
laptop to become damaged or begin to show signs of wear. There is a lot of dust, grime and debris that can find its way under the keys. As you type this dirt can be ground in and it can enter the inside of the keyboard itself causing problems. The worst thing to spill on your keyboard is any form of liquid. This can
permanently damage the electrics within the keyboard.
If your Dell Inspiron Keyboard is showing signs of having a damaged keyboard you can find a replacement at Laptop Power UK. With many UK keyboards in
stock we can dispatch straight away to ensure your laptop can be used again quickly. Our keyboards are shipped in strong packaging to ensure it reaches you in top condition. Have a look at our range which includes the Dell Inspiron 6400 Keyboard and place your order before 3pm to take advantage of our next day delivery service.

Some people want to fix their Laptop Keyboard instead of replacing it. To start fixing back on missing keys etc is time consuming, tricky and not always guaranteed to stay fixed. Once you have damaged the clasps that hold the keys and the frame
in place then they are likely to be weakened and will probably no longer hold the key in place. The best solution is to replace the whole keyboard in one go.
The keys are mounted on a plastic or metal ‘base’. Sandwiched in the middle will be all the necessary electronics to allow the keyboard to recognise when the keys are being pressed. Coming out of the back of the keyboard will be a ribbon cable which then attached to the laptop motherboard at a specific point. When
replacing the Dell Keyboard you simply need to remove the relevant screws holding it in place and then remove the ribbon cable. Just reverse this process to attach the new Dell Inspiron E6400 Keyboard in place.
You will then have a brand new keyboard, free of dirt and grime and missing keys. If you use your laptop a lot for word processing etc this will be a life saver. Pay a visit to Laptop Power UK to find the Dell Keyboard you need today.
