Travelling with work can be seen as a blessing or a curse.
At first, the thought of getting out of the office can seem like a stroke of luck. But with enough meetings being held out of the office, and after several experiences of getting stuck on the underground or in traffic, it might begin to lose its appeal.
Add to this the fact that leaving the office, for any reason, means less time to do the same amount of work, and the fact that you will return to endless phone messages and possibly hundreds of emails, and very soon the thought of leaving the office for anywhere apart from home might fill you with dread.
Of course, laptops make it possible to catch up on any outstanding work while you are travelling. Yet this situation is not without its disadvantages either. You only need to find yourself on a train with a failing battery – and no laptop chargers – to feel very frustrated at the laptop, yourself and the world.
The simple answer to this situation, and indeed any situation where you find yourself moving around with a laptop, is to ensure that you have several laptop chargers.
Buying laptop spares is becoming more commonplace. As with all electronic equipment, you should shop wisely. If you do need to find laptop spares, then visit www.laptop-power.co.uk for top quality spares and replacements (compatible parts, not the manufacturer’s originals), such as laptop keyboard replacements, screen replacements and a free fitting service if needed.
