To be fair Philips didn’t do a bad job with their Philips Freevents range of laptops. The key range of laptops with the Philips Freevents series are the Philips Freevents X52 charger and the Philips Freevents X54 charger. The laptop adapters used by these Philips laptops are the Philips Freevents 12NB5800 laptop adapter and the Philips Freevents 15NB57 laptop charger.
Most of these laptops have been manufactured with either 12.1” screens of 15.4” screens. Philips have been criticised in many consumer reviewing circles by inadequately servicing the aftermarket of spare parts for their laptops, particularly in Europe. Replacement Philips Freevents laptop chargers, batteries and screens have been reported as being very hard to come by. Many customers appear to have been forced to buy inferior equipment from channels such as Ebay and Amazon. Laptop Power UK are pleased to announce they now have in stock a full complement of replacement parts for Philips laptops and this includes laptop batteries, laptop chargers and laptop screens.
Overall from a technical standpoint, the Philips Freevents charger series of laptop seem to be getting decent reviews across both UK and US consumer review boards. However customers should note that spare parts for these laptops has been a historical problem, which Laptop Power UK have gone a long way towards alleviating.
