It’s become insufferably trendy to act concerned about the environment in the last few years. Not a day goes by where a pampered movie star isn’t unveiling a climate change slideshow or a globetrotting Diva isn’t telling us we should all be sharing baths with family members to save on hot water. It’s enough to make you want to buy some patio heaters and drive an SUV just to spite them. That would be rash of course.
Preaching to the choir
Regardless of how irritating it is to be constantly harangued by the rich and famous for not recycling our milk bottles, they have a point. Even if it’s hard to swallow coming from Shakira or George Clooney, we probably shouldn’t be leaving our laptop adapters and chargers on overnight. So at Laptop Power UK we’re not going to lecture anyone on their petrol consumption or carbon footprint, but we will occasionally offer a gentle reminder to unplug your new emachines d620 power supply to not only save the environment but to extend the life of your power adapter for laptop. You probably know this already but even if you turn your computer off but leave your acer travelmate 2410 charger plugged in, you’re still using electricity and gradually eroding the lifespan of your laptop. Even the best chargers can only last so long.
So we always advise our customers to turn off their laptops, turn off the power socket and unplug their dell pa 12 adapter when they’re shutting down for the night. It’ll save the planet sure; however it’ll also save you money not only on the electricity bill but on laptop chargers too. Much as we’d like it if everyone had to buy more chargers from us, we’d prefer to have satisfied customers with chargers they can rely on.
