laptop charger overheating – Let Laptop Power UK cool things down

One of the most common phone calls we get from our customers is that their previous laptop charger is overheating. There are two main reasons as to why this might be happening. Firstly (and most likely) if you have been using your laptop charger successfully for a long period of time without any problem and it has suddenly started to get very hot then the chances are an internal component in the laptop adapter will have blown – resulting in overheating of the item.

Unfortunately it is not possible to economically repair internal component damage within a laptop charger – even one that is overheating. As a result, whether now or in the future, you will need to replace the laptop charger that is overheating. It is highly recommended that you replace the laptop adapter immediately since electrical safety is of the uttmost importance, and an overheating laptop charger is not an item you want in your house.

All the laptop charger and laptop adapter replacements supplied by Laptop Power UK have all the neccessary safety certification – hence the reason we are the largest supplier of laptop power solutions into the UK Education sector and Public Sector. If you have a laptop adapter overheating - get in touch with Laptop Power UK – you will be in safe and competent hands!
