New Apple iPad takes the world by storm

At laptop power UK we aren’t just interested in innovative new laptops but also ground-breaking technology. The newly released iPad is one of the hottest gadgets of 2010, revolutionising the concept of a tablet computer.

Apple continues to maintain the reputation of providing the world with unique products that are focused on simplicity and power. Prices for the iPad begin at £429 for the 16GB version, increasing to £499 for the 32GB and £599 for the 64GB. The iPad is sleek, stylish and easily transferable, with a screen that is stunning and very responsive. Being smaller than your average laptop it is quick and convenient to use, with a weight of 680g (1.5lbs) making it effortlessly portable whilst on the move. At a modest height and width measure of   9.5 and 7.5 inches (242.8mm by 189.7mm), the iPad feels smaller than the typical laptop. Maybe even more important, the device is just one-half inch (13.4 mm) thick, emphasising the iPad’s capability to be easily carried while on the move. It could be argued that because the iPad doesn’t possess a camera or usb ports it is yet to become a superior substitute for a laptop, with printing being fairly difficult as well. However internet access is just as fast as broadband at home, making the iPad a lightweight, compact accessory that can provide connection to the internet immediately. With excellent sound quality and superb video potential it has contributed to the iPad establishing itself as one of the most sought after gadgets in the world, supported by the fact Apple having to initially push back the UK launch due to overwhelming demand for the device.

Laptop Power UK will soon open its new flagship store in Liverpool, Hunts Cross at the beginning of July, offering speedy and excellent laptop repair services and cheap iPad repairs at competitive prices. With iPads being costly, it is vital owners can receive the assurance of quality care that Laptop Power UK offers.
