As your laptop requires electricity to allow it to work, you either need to provide this from the mains power supply by plugging the Laptop Charger in, or you need to get it from power stored in your Laptop Battery. If one of these things fails on you then there it can cause a lot of headaches which you will want to get resolved sooner rather than later.
Say for instance, your battery develops a fault and no longer holds any charge. You may plug the charger in but it stubbornly refuses to store any power. You could have a battery which has some faulty cells perhaps which means that it will never perform as it once did.
If you plug the Dell Laptop Charger in and still no power is transferred to the battery or the laptop will not power on, you may well assume the adapter itself is faulty. This can be a good assumption because if the adapter is not providing the power to the laptop, the battery will run flat and the laptop will no longer start. So if your battery doesn’t charge there can be more than one explanation. To get it working successfully again, order a new Dell Vostro 1710 Adapter
