However in their wisdom, Compaq decided to use an 15.6″ LED screen with the ribbon cable connector on the opposite side to most normal 15.6″ LED screens. So it is not as simple as just finding out whether you need an LED screen. You also need to look to see which side its connector is on – left or right.
