If you are having Laptop Charger problems this is how you can solve the problem. Should you have a voltmeter handy in your house, this can be one of the easiest ways to find out if your charger is the reason why your laptop will not turn on. Simply plug the Acer Charger in and then use the voltmeter to determine if the correct voltage is showing. This will usually be 19V or 20V. If all seems well and the charger light is coming on then you can reasonable assume that the Acer Aspire Charger is OK.
Should this be the case the chances are you have a fault with the part in which you plug in your Acer Aspire 5735 Adapter. While the charger is working correctly, the power from it may not be getting through to the laptops charging circuit correctly meaning the laptop is not receiving the power it needs to function as it should. If this is the case, you could buy a hundred laptop chargers but none of them would work as your laptop would need a repair to its DC socket. Once done though, the charge from your laptop power supply will once again be able to enter your laptop and allow it function as normal.
