Compaq Presario chargers and power cables – Laptop Power UK’s bread and butter
Compaq have largely built up their reputation on the laptop sector with their Presario range of laptops. This series of laptop was a UK best seller for a long time and hence there is an awful lot of these laptops out in the market place. The demand for Compaq Presario Charger is steady and consistent, and as such we have a guaranteed stock holding of all Presario laptop adapters.
Following its tie-up with HP, Compaq is again a force to be reckoned with when it comes to laptops. As a result there is a whole new family of Compaq laptop adaptors that are being released which for the most part are 90w rated. Some of these modern Compaq Presario power cables have proprietary technology within the adapter tip meaning that an original mains cable is required to successfully charge up the laptop.

Our customers will be glad to know that we stock the original Compaq power supply so for laptops which require an IC connector in the tip (also known as a Smart Tip) we will be able to supply this without a problem. In contrast to what you would receive direct from Compaq all our Battery Chargers come with a UK mains lead, and indeed a European lead can be provided upon request for our European friends.
We anticipate that there will be a continuing demand for Presario power cables, due to the demand for Compaq’s new sexy laptop designs currently on the UK high street at the time of writing. Most of the future demand is likely to be for 90w chargers for the Compaq range since this is what is currently being almost exclusively supplied with these laptops. Our customers need not worry since we are keeping on top of the situation and can offer both original laptop adaptors as well as compatible replacements – take your pick!
